Confirmation of Foreign Worker Accommodation Address by FOMEMA

Dear esteemed MFC members,

For your information, beginning September 7, 2026 (Monday), FOMEMA requires all employers to review and confirm the accommodation address of each of their foreign workers in the FOMEMA Online Portal.

This is to ensure the information regarding the foreign workers in portal remains accurate and up-to-date in accordance to regulatory requirements.

According to FOMEMA, even if the address displayed is already correct and the existing foreign workers are still staying at the existing address registered, employers are still required to review and click “Save” to confirm it.

If the foreign worker has already moved to a new address, Employers are required to create and manage a new accommodation address through the “Accommodation Address” feature in the online portal.

Note: Please take note that only ONE current accommodation address can be maintained for each foreign worker at each given time. If the accommodation address is not confirmed, the foreign workers registration cannot be completed.

FOMEMA要求雇主确认外籍员工住宿地址

诚致全体MFC会员：

谨此通知，自2026年9月7日（星期一）起，FOMEMA 要求所有雇主通过 FOMEMA 线上系统审核并确认其每位外籍员工的住宿地址。

此举旨在确保系统内有关外籍员工的资料准确无误，并符合相关监管要求。

根据 FOMEMA 的说明，即使系统显示的住宿地址正确，且现有外籍员工仍居住于已登记的地址，雇主仍须进行审核并点击“Save（保存）”按钮，以完成地址确认程序。

若外籍员工已搬迁至新地址，雇主则须通过线上系统中的“Accommodation Address（住宿地址）”功能，新增及管理新的住宿地址资料。

注意事项： 每名外籍员工在任何时候只能保留一个当前有效的住宿地址记录。若住宿地址未获确认，将无法完成该外籍员工的注册程序。
