Courtesy Visit to YBM MITI

A courtesy visit led by Tan Sri Low Kian Chuan to MITI Minister YB Tengku Zafrul regarding US President Trump’s intent to introduce a 25% tariff on the importation of timber and wood products. President Mr Desmond did raise some potential outcomes which might affect the Malaysian Furniture Industry.

The MITI Minister mentioned that they also very concerned about this matter and will find a way to discuss further with the relevant US department soon.
