Dear esteemed MFC members,
For your information, the Indian government has introduced a regulation which requires plywood and wooden door shutters to adhere to its Indian Standards.
Under this new regulation, furniture exporters to India which produced the two mentioned products above are required to obtain the certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards.
The enforcement date of this regulation is based on the following categories:
1) Medium and Large companies = February 28, 2025
2) Small Enterprises = May 28, 2025
3) Micro Enterprises = August 28, 2025
Kindly refer to the attachment for the details of the exact products affected by this new regulation.
NOTE: MFC urges all members to adhere to the regulation set by the Indian government to avoid any potential complications.

谨此通知，印度政府将推出一项法规，要求胶合板和木百叶窗遵守其印度标准。
根据这项新规定，生产上述两种产品，并出口至印度的家具企业，必须获得印度标准局的认证。
本规定的施行日期按以下类别划分：
1) 中型和大型公司 = 2025 年 2 月 28 日
2) 小型企业 = 2025 年 5 月 28 日
3) 微型企业 = 2025 年 8 月 28 日
