Dear esteemed MFC members,
For your information, the KDN has agreed to extend the dateline for the Immigration Department to clear the existing backlogs of those whom have applied for new foreign workers prior to March 31,2024.
Please take note that any new applications of foreign workers though the FWCMS system after March 31, 2024 is not allowed.
However, due to certain circumstances the Immigration Department is given until April 21, 2024 (Sunday) to provide the approval letters (VDR) to the previous applications.
Upon receiving their approval letters (VDR), the applicants/ employers are then required to bring in their approved foreign workers into Malaysia before May 31, 2024.
Note: Members whom did not receive any news/ updates on their application after April 21, 2024 are urged to contact the Immigration Department to enquire on their application status.

内政部延长参考签证批准函（VDR) 批准函申请最终限期
诚致全体 MFC 会员：
谨此通知，内政府已同意延长参考签证批准函（VDR) 申请最终限期，以处理 2024 年 3 月 31 日之前申请新外籍劳工的现有积压案件。
请留意，2024 年 3 月 31 日之后通过 FWCMS 提出的新申请，是不被允许和处理的。
然而，基于某些情况，移民局只能在 2024 年 4 月 21 日（星期日）前为之前的申请提供参考签证批准函（VDR）。
收到参考签证批准函（VDR）后，申请人/雇主必须在 2024 年 5 月 31 日之前将其所获批的外籍劳工带入马来西亚。
2024 年 4 月 21 日后，仍未收到任何申请消息 / 更新的会员，请立即联系移民局查询其申请状态。
