MTC NIOSH Training Programme 2026

Dear esteemed MFC members,

For your information, the Malaysian Timber Council (MTC), in collaboration with the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), will be organising the "Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator (OSH-C)" training programme.

This programme is designed to enhance participants' knowledge and competency in occupational safety and health while ensuring compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Amendment 2022).

In addition, effective from 2026, compliance with OSH requirements has become a prerequisite for companies applying for MTC's Technology Acquisition Programme (TAP), which provides incentives for initiatives such as Business Digitalisation (BD), Automation Technology Acquisition (ATA), and various Green Initiatives (GI). The training will be conducted over 3 days and 2 nights at various locations throughout Peninsular Malaysia from August to September 2026. Kindly refer to the attached schedule for the training dates and venues.

MTC will also provide accommodation reimbursement of up to RM400 for the duration of the training, subject to the terms and conditions.

A refundable commitment fee of RM200 is required upon registration. The fee will be refunded upon successful completion of the training and submission of a scanned certified copy of the OSH-C Certificate.

1. Participation is limited to one (1) fully sponsored participant per company.

2. Additional participants from the same company may attend with 50% sponsorship by MTC, subject to availability.

马来西亚木材理事会 2026 NIOSH 培训计划

谨此通知，马来西亚木材理事会将与国家职业安全与健康机构（NIOSH）联合举办「职业安全与健康协调员（Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator, OSH-C）」培训计划。

该培训计划旨在提升参与者在职业安全与健康方面的知识与专业能力，并协助企业符合《1994年职业安全与健康法令》（2022年修订版）的相关规定。

与此同时，自2026年起，符合职业安全与健康（OSH）相关要求已成为申请 MTC Technology Acquisition Programme (TAP) 的资格条件之一。 TAP 涵盖多项资助计划，包括企业数码化（Business Digitalisation, BD）、自动化技术采购（Automation Technology Acquisition, ATA）及各项绿色倡议（Green Initiatives, GI）。详情请浏览：https://iap.mtc.com.my/

培训课程为期3天2夜，将于2026年8月至9月期间在马来西亚半岛多个地点举行。请参阅附件了解培训日期及地点详情。

MTC 将提供最高400令吉住宿费用报销，以补贴参与者于培训期间的住宿开销（须符合相关条款及条件）。

报名时须缴付200令吉保证金。 参与者于完成培训并提交经认证的 OSH-C 证书扫描副本后，该保证金将全额退还。

备注：

1. 每家公司仅限 1名参与者享有全额赞助。

2. 同一公司的额外参与者可在名额允许的情况下报名，并可获得 MTC 提供50%的培训赞助。
