For your information, the MFC Governing Committee has recently attended a Round Table Discussion with the MITI Minister and the issue of 18 months request of extending the foreign workers permit has been brought up.
As a result, MITI has requested the industry to compile the necessary data from the industry players for it to be presented to the Ministry of Human Resource and Ministry of Home Affairs to be further discussed and decided.
Hence, we call for your cooperation in filing out this survey form as the results will subsequently be presented to the government.

有关延长外劳“短期受雇工作准证“ 问卷调查
诚致全体 MFC 会员：
谨此通知，马来西亚家具总会理事刚出席了与 马来西亚投资、贸易及工业部（MITI）部长的圆桌会议，并在会议上提出了延长外劳短期受雇工作准证多 18 个月的要求。
因此，MITI 部长要求家具业者提供正确的数据，随后会将收到的数据提呈给人力资源部和内政部，已做进一步讨论和决定。
马来西亚家具总会谨此 呼吁所有业者积极配合填写此问卷调查，以确保业界的诉求能上传给政府部门。
