For your information, the Malaysian Timber Council (MTC) will be organising a webinar titled “Updates on Upcoming Trade Regulations and Policies in the European Union”. The webinar is intended to cover policy developments that may impact the trade of timber and timber products between Malaysian and the EU.
Among the issues to be covered during the event are as below:
1) Proposal on the ban on goods made using forced labour
2) Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)
3) Corporate sustainability on due diligence
